While this week has seen some interesting releases, it’s been a week of action-packed films released on the big screens. It is Ajay Devgn-directed Bholaa which is slowly and steadily growing in terms of business since its release on Thursday, 30th March. When I saw the film, there were mixed reactions I had about it, and in case you are in two minds to watch it, this Bholaa movie review will help you decide. Having said that, the film is a complete thriller with some stellar actions and a good storyline to witness. Other than Ajay Devgn, the film also stars, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Gajraj Rao, in important roles, and Abhishek Bachchan in a guest appearance.

Coming to the business part of the film, on day 2 (Friday) Bholaa showed steady growth and collected Rs 7.40 crores. While the film earned Rs 11.20 crores on its first day, the word of mouth is really promoting the film’s growth at the National Box Office. So far, Bholaa’s NBOC stands at Rs 18.60 crores and I am waiting to see how well the film grows over its first weekend.
Bholaa is a story about a man who fights some ghosts of his past while helping the police in bringing a drug racket to its closure and trying his best to reunite with his 10-year-old daughter. The plot revolves around Ajay Devgn, a Shiva devotee who was recently released after spending a decade in prison, eagerly waiting to meet his daughter who now lives in an orphanage. While Tabu plays the role of a dutiful cop, who has just arrested one of the most notorious gangsters.
Considering the film has been released both in 2D and 3D it will be very interesting to see the business it does and for updates on that front, you need to watch this space. Stay tuned!
