The trailer of Oppenheimer, one of the most-anticipated movies of 2023, was released by the makers on May 8. It gave the audiences a much awaited peek into Christopher Nolan‘s epic thriller. The film is based on the life of physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, credited with inventing the atomic bomb, and this trailer give us a glimpse of his life and what went behind it. The trailer also introduced us to the film’s star studded cast, which includes Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and many others.

The trailer starts off with Cillian Murphy’s character declaring that its an emergency, and they have no option but to test the atomic bomb, which has never been done before. It also shows us the immense pressure Cillian’s nuclear physicist is under, to make sure that the US be the first to make the bomb, ahead of the enemies like Germany. We are then introduced to some iconic faces in Hollywood, who play characters that were significant in the making of this bomb. The film is written and directed by Christopher Nolan and the fans of the director just cannot contain their excitement for its release.
The film is said to release on the same day as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, 21st July, and it is surely going to be a clash of two fandoms.
