Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer, a partition-drama romantic film, that was released in 2001, is all set to release its second part. The actors are all set to reprise their iconic roles as two star-crossed lovers in the second rendition of the film. The first look of Gadar 2 was released earlier. Based on the India-Pakistan partition backdrop, this film is one for the ages and was a blockbuster hit when it was first released. The audiences were hooked on its romantic plot and the chemistry the two shared on the screen. The makers of the film have now released the teaser of its second part and it looks exciting as ever. The Gadar 2 teaser starts with a narration that says that Tara Singh is the son-in-law of Pakistan and if you don’t offer him things, he might as well take home Lahore. We also see him carrying a cartwheel and fighting the bad men, while in another shot in this 50-second trailer, we hear the iconic song play in the background while Sunny’s eyes are filled with tears. The film will carry on with the plot of Tara Singh and his family, picking up from the first part where we see Tara Singh give it his all to cross the border for his wife Sakina played by Ameesha Patel.
If you wish to refresh your memory of the first part of this film, the makers are now screening the movie in 3000 screens across India. The second rendition is set to release around Independence Day, on 11th August and is directed by Anil Sharma. Make sure you catch this iconic film at a cinema near you.
