Everyone has been eagerly awaiting the release of The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, this film is based on the iconic Archies Comics and also has characters based on it. It also marks the debut of star kids like Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda. Zoya dropped a post on her Instagram page a few months ago announcing the shoot’s wrap-up. The makers have now released a new poster of the show, which has piqued the audience’s interest once again.

Suhana shared the poster with the caption, ‘Welcome to Riverdale’, as Riverdale acts as the backdrop of the stories of Archies and his friends. The poster totally fits the old-school vibe that we see in the Archies comic books. From the set to the costumes, this film is sure to transport you to another era. Netflix also recently confirmed that the cast will soon be heading to Sao Paulo for the Netflix Tudum event.
The film is produced by Tiger Baby and is written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. The film will have an exclusive OTT release on Netflix, more details about its release are yet to be revealed.
