One thing everyone looks forward to in Bollywood are the debutants. This year looks rather promising when it comes to stars making their debuts, in some of the most awaited films of the year. From Tusharr Khanna in Star Fish to a whole lot of big names making their debut in Zoya Akhtar’s much-awaited film The Archies. Check out the list below to know who you are going to catch on your screens this year…
1. Suhana Khan
All eyes are on Suhana Khan as she makes her debut in The Archies, a Zoya Akhtar film on Netflix. The pressure to perform when you are related to King Khan himself is so much more. She is all set to play the role of Veronica in the film and it is sure to be an interesting watch.
2. Tusharr Khanna
The actor is all geared up for his debut film Starfish, which also stars names like Milind Soman, Khushalii Kumar and Ehan Bhatt. He recently dropped a post on Instagram expressing his excitement for the film, which is said to be a romance drama based in Malta.
3. Ibrahim Ali Khan
I am thoroughly excited about this one, it would almost be like seeing young Saif on screen once again. Reportedly, the actor is set to make his debut in a film titled ‘Sarzameen’ which is produced by Dharma Production. He is said to play a soldier in the film, with no leading lady beside him.
4. Khushi Kapoor
Sridevi’s youngest daughter and Janhvi Kapoor’s sister is also all set to make her debut in Bollywood this year. The star kid will also be making her debut alongside Suhana and Agastya Nanda in The Archies. While Suhana plays the role of Veronica, Khushi is said to take on the role of Betty.
5. Shanaya Kapoor
Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor is also gearing up for her debut in the much-awaited Dharma Production titled ‘Bedhadak’. The makers have already dropped the first look of the film, which also stars Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani.
6. Rasha Thandani
Raveena Tandon’s daughter Risha Thandani is also gearing up to make her Bollywood debut this year. She is said to star in Abhishek Kapoor’s action-adventure film. Abhishek has launched some very promising faces, and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us.
7. Agastya Nanda
Grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and son of Shweta Nanda, Agastya Nanda is also all set to make his Bollywood debut this year with the much-talked-about film, The Archies. The actor also has another film titled ‘Ikkis’ coming up where he will be seen alongside Dharmendra.
8. Aryan Khan
Now just Shah Rukh’s daughter, but his son will also be making his debut this year. However, his debut will be behind the scenes, as the showrunner of his show titled ‘Stardom’. There was also news that Ranbir Kapoor is said to play an important cameo in the show, and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us. Quite excited about this one!
9. Jibraan Khan
Jibraan Khan who starred in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham as the son of Shah Rukh and Kajol, as Krish Raichand, is also making his debut this year. He will be spotted in the Ishq Vishq Rebound which is also set to star Rohit Saraf, Pashnima Roshan and Naila Grewal.
10. Yashwardhan Ahuja
The ever-handsome Yashwardhan, son of Govinda will be making his debut this year with a film that Govinda himself is said to be producing. He has learnt the ropes by assisting in films like Tdapa and Kick 2, and will be making his debut alongside Ganesh Acharya’s daughter.
