It has been a great month for all the action lovers, as we saw a number of action thriller films released. From Extraction 2 released today on Netflix to the Shahid Kapoor action thriller Bloody Daddy released on JioCinema. Other films such as Fast X and Transformers: Rise of The Best have also done exceptionally well at the box office. The audience seems to love these films, so I’ve put together a list of all the recent action-thriller films that you should definitely add to your watch list…
1. Extraction 2
Chris Hemsworth is back with this action-packed film to your screens as he reprises his role after he was declared medically dead in the first part. He plays the role of Tyler Rake, an Australian Special Forces Operator, Netflix dropped the trailer of the film but not much was revealed about the plot. The story however picks up from when he wakes up after his last deadly mission and has some kickass action scenes that will have you holding your breath.
2. Blood Daddy
Shahid Kapoor in this action thriller is seen taking on the bad guys while he himself looks killer while doing it. The film also stars Ronit Roy and Sanjay Kapoor in pivotal roles and it has got all the ingredients for the perfect action thriller as it involves a chase over a bag of cocaine. If you wish to see Shahid in a suit blazing guns at the bad guys, this one is a must-watch.
3. Fast X
This Vin Diesel Starrer is the perfect watch for not just action lovers but also all car fans. Jason Momoa also features in the film as the antagonist and is on a mission to avenge his father’s death. The chase is intense as Dante plans to blow up the city and has also kidnapped Dominic’s 8-year-old son. We know the lengths Dominic has gone to in the past to protect his people and his family, watch to find out what lengths he goes in this one. 4. Transformers: Rise Of The Beast
This film set in Brooklyn New York will see the iconic robots Autobots, who have now joined hands with Maximals as they put up a fight against the Unicorns as they battle it out to take over the planet. This one is surely going to be intense as new characters are introduced into the franchise. The film has already raked in $155 million worldwide.
5. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One
Tom Cruise is back with another instalment from this iconic franchise. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is packed with some high-octane stunts from the ever-talented Tom Cruise that will keep you glued to the screen. His jump from a cliff, while riding on his bike stunned netizens all around. The plot revolves around him trying to save all of humanity from a deadly weapon that has landed in the wrong hands.
