Shah Rukh Khan is the ultimate King of Bollywood and there is no denying in that. He has charmed us with his smile and also made us cry with his performance on screen. He started his career with a film called Deewana, 31 Years ago, and ever since then, has made us his deewana. Throughout his career, he has done very iconic films and these films come with some very iconic dialougues. Let me take you through my favourites…
1. Baazigar – “Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna padta hai….aur haar kar jeetne wale ko baazigar kehte hain”
This one will literally give you goosebumps and watching him deliver this line will make your heart skip a beat.
2. Om Shaanti Om – “Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh puri kainaat useh tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”
This line taught me to believe in my dreams and go after them no matter what.
3. Chak De! India – “Sirf ek mulk ka naam sunai deta hai INDIA.”
The nager and determination in his eyes, truly sets this role apart for me, from everything else that he has done.
4. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge – “Bade bade desho main, aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai.”
This is one dialougue that stuck by everyone and soon became a large part of popculture as well.
5. Chennai Express – “Don’t underestimate the power of a common man”
6. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – “Pyaar dosti hai”
SRK in his character Rahul introduced a new definition of love to a whole genration and everyone. It truly was a cultural reset.
7. Pathaan – “Agar party Pathaan ke ghar rakhoge toh mehmaan-nawaazi ke liye pathaan toh ayega. Aur patakhe bhi layega”
The film was an absolute blockbuster and this dialogue had people hooting an cheering in theatres.
Everyone has a Shahrukh memory or a dislogue that they hold close to their heart. Have you found yours?
