Sonam Kapoor is back to your screens after her last film in 2019, with Dulquer Salmaan. Sonam who has usually played girl-next-door roles, will be seen in an intense role, very different from what she has done in the past. This film will also mark her digital debut as the film releases on Jio Cinema on 7th July. The film is a crime drama and Sonam plays a blind cop it in. Jio Cinema dropped the teaser of the film on their Instagram page, check it out below…
The teaser starts off with Sonam waiting at a stop with a stick in her hand, and if you’re attentive enough, in the first few moments you realise that she is visually impaired. She then gets into a cab where the driver, played by Purab Kohli tries to strangle her. She somehow manages to escape this attack and then goes on to investigate this serial killer who also seems to be targeting other women in town. Sonam in a slick bun looks mysterious and I cannot wait to see how she takes on this case.
It looks like a very intriguing film from the first glimpse of it, and Sonam seems to fit perfectly in this role. Make sure you watch Blind at Jio Cinema only on 7th July, cause I sure am!
