Hansal Mehta is known for his hard-hitting dramas and gripping scripts, the director has his next film lined up with Kareena Kapoor in the lead. In this untitled thriller film, Kareena is said to take on the role of a detective, as per reports in The Times of India. The film set in London is shaping up to be a noir drama. The director expressed what it is working like with Kareena and he also mentioned what joy she is to be working with.

The director in an interview with Midday, also went on to call her a ‘good actor’ and claimed that everyone will see Kareena in a completely different light in his next film. Now I am desperately waiting to see what the filmmaker has in store for us. Kareena Kapoor who usually is seen taking up mainstream films, will be spotted in this Hansal Mehta thriller, which will be a rather new look for her. He also mentioned in this interview, that the chemistry he shares with Kareena is the same as it is with Rajkummar Rao, Karishma Tanna and Mohammaed Zeeshan.
The director’s last work Scoop was an absolute hit, and is streaming on Netflix, and stars Karishma Tanna in the lead. Kareena on the other hand has just wrapped up the shoot for her film ‘The Crew’ which also stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
