Saif Ali Khan’s last film Adipurush was in the news a lot last month for a number of reasons. The actor has been very selective in picking up films that he wants to be a part of. Vikram Vedha was one film in recent years that the audience thoroughly enjoyed Saif in. His character was gripping and his role alongside Hrithik caught a lot of attention. The actor is now all set to pair up with the Pathaan director, Sidharth Anand for his next.
The film which is yet untitled, is a mission-oriented actioner with Saif Ali Khan racing against time. The deal however has been struck for its digital rights, by Netflix, for a whopping 60 Crores. It is seen to be one of the biggest deals in India for a direct-to-digital film, in India. This film also marks as a reunion of Saif and Siddharth Anand after their last films Tara Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste. It has been a while since the two collaborated, and I cannot wait to see the fruits of their work once again.
The film is slated to release sometime next year, and this film is definitely a big feat for Netflix as a platform as well as the growing digital-to-direct film base in India.
