Welcome has been one of the most loved comedy movie franchises and was thoroughly admired by the audience. Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor are known for their iconic roles in Welcome and were a complete fan favourite. The second part of Welcome was released in 2015 and the audiences have been eagerly waiting for a third part. Now we have received the surprising news that the old cast will be replaced by these two new actors which have taken the audience aback.

According to a report from Pinkvilla, Firoz Nadiadwala’s has three films in the pipeline, and ‘Welcome’ seems to be the first one to kickstart its production as its script has been ready for some time now. The filmmaker plans to infuse a fresh twist into this comedy film by casting Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi to join Welcome 3 as the mischievous gangsters – Majnu and Uday. The duo, who previously showcased fantastic chemistry as Munna and Circuit, will now explore new dimensions in this exciting new franchise. The film’s script has been finalized and is set to begin filming next year. This schedule aligns with Akshay Kumar’s commitments as well. However, there has been curiosity surrounding the exit of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar from the project. According to Pinkvilla, the reason behind their exit is a disagreement over financial matters between the actors and the producer, they said “It’s a case of monetary disagreements between the duo and the producer.” This has led to the decision of introducing Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in their respective roles, adding a fresh charm to the popular franchise.

Although the essence of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar will be thoroughly missed, the iconic duo of Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt has extremely intrigued me! I am looking forward to this film and knowing more about their roles.
