Karan Johar recently marked 25 years in the industry and this news was of great excitement to everyone. Karan Johar recently joined hands with Vasant Bala for a film and has casted Alia Bhatt in a lead role. To add to that, there is a new cast member added, Vedang Raina who is making his debut in Archies directed by Zoya Akhtar.
According to a report from Pinkvilla, “The Vasan Bala film will mark his first foray into the world of theatrical business. Karan and Vasan were impressed with his performance in the rushes of The Archies and believe that he fits the bill.” The report also added, “In August, Alia Bhatt and Vedang will have multiple script reading sessions to break the ice. In fact, there will also be action workshops as the premise of Vasan Bala’s film has ample of action. The core plot is centered around a prison break.” The movie’s filming is scheduled to begin shooting in September, and it is set to hit theaters in the latter half of 2024, adding to the extensive lineup of films Karan Johar has in store for the next 12 months.
It is exciting to see Alia Bhatt back with Dharma and this will mark her 12th collaboration with Dharma. The film seems promising and action-packed and I am eagerly awaiting seeing their roles and know more about this film!
