Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has created quite a stir with CBFC with its content. The film stars Akshay, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles and has created a buzz due to the multiple issues it has faced in recent times. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the film is also likely to get postponed due to the number of changes the CBFC Board has requested. The makers of the film wish to fight the changes requested, and push the release date of the film, to have enough time to promote it. The Board has said that the scenes where Akshay is seen as Shiv’s avatar needs to be cut out, but the makers believe that it will affect the essence of the film. As for now, the film is still slated to release on 11th August and the makers have not announced any change of release date. Waiting to see how the audience reacts to this Amit Rai directorial.
