While Kartik Aaryan and Sajid Nadiawala are enjoying the success of their latest release ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ they are also preparing for an upcoming sports drama film ‘Chandu Champion.’ Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiawala have come together once again after ’83’ for yet another sports drama starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, the other details are not yet revealed but the film is set to release in 2024.
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, the film has begun shooting and is tentatively named ‘Chandu Champion’, the report also added “Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala feel that the title is apt for the film as it goes well with the journey of the character. While it’s quirky, it also attempts to create a memory of what Bajrangi Bhaijaan did back in 2005. The director and producer duo are attempting to create a conversation around the film and also push people to discuss the title.” Reportedly the film would be shot in these 6 months and be ready by June 2024 tentatively. Bollywood Hungama’s source also added “Though the film is a sports drama on the outlook of things, there are many elements that require good VFX time, and hence, Kabir will be keeping a good amount of time for the post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that the film will be a landmark in their career.”

Kartik Aaryan is truly on a success spree giving us one successful movie after another while also working on many upcoming projects. Sajid Nadiawala will also release ‘Bawaal’ this year which will add to the list of exciting upcoming movies to wait for. I truly enjoyed ’83’ and I am hoping to see a great outcome from this sports drama as well.
