Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has been the talk of the town for a while, with numerous issues the film has faced in terms of its content and plot. This social comedy also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam and is gearing up for an Independence Day weekend release. The makers of the film are promoting the film in full force, now that the CBFC Board has granted them an A Certificate. The film made on a budget of 150 crores has already sold 7700 tickets already in its advance booking stage. There was demand before the trailer of the film was even out, and it also saw a spike once the trailer was released. The film however is still lagging behind Gadar 2, who it is set to lock horns with at the box office as it releases on the same day. Gadar is leading by a margin when it comes to advance bookings. I cannot wait to see how well this Akshay Kumar starrer does at the box office.
The hype around the film is soaring high, and songs such as Oonchi Oonchi Waadi and Har Har Mahadev have also impressed the audience. Catch this Amit Rai directorial at a theatre near you on 11th August.
