The Welcome franchise has had fans awaiting its return to the big screen after first two very successful parts. The film is undoubtedly a cult favourite and a great Bollywood comedy to watch. The film was known for its iconic characters like Majnu Bhai and Uday Bhai, which were essayed by Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. However, both of these will not be reprising their roles in Welcome 3. According to the report, the main reason why Anil Kapoor is not part of Welcome 3 is his cast fee. Both Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor were initially offered their roles in Welcome 3, which is now renamed to ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, but the plan could not materialise due to monetary reasons. Sajid Nadiadwala was surprised by the high fee that Anil Kapoor demanded for his role, a whopping 18 Crores. Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will now be replacing Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in the film. These two also make for an iconic jodi on screen and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the fans.
