The path-breaking and trend-setting actor, also touted as the Queen of Bollywood – Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her streaming debut with Netflix. She is soon to be seen playing a gritty role in a crime thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh titled ‘Jaane Jaan’. The film is an adaptation of Japanese author Higashino Keigo’s best-selling 2005 novel The Devotion of Suspect X. The makers dropped the first look from the film, almost a teaser of sorts and also announced the release date to be Kareena’s birthday. Check out the first look below…
The video opens up with Kareena singing the song ‘Jaane Jaan’ into a mic, on a stage. She is seen donning her iconic black kajal singing in a very sultry voice setting an eerie vibe to the teaser. She plays the role of a single mother who has to deal with her ex-husband’s reappearance. The teaser also reveals the rest of the cast of the film, where we see Jaideep Ahlawat in what looks like a worked-out corporate character, and Vijay Varma as well, dressed as a cop.
