When talking about the roles she has played in the past and loved, she opened up about updates on Mardaani 3. The actress revealed that she would love to play the part of Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3. She also mentioned how she was nervous about doing Mardaani 2, as she had never done a sequel before. She said that the reason behind her not doing a sequel is that she leaves her characters behind each time a film gets over. But for Mardaani 2, she was surprised that she enjoyed reprising the part, and hence wants to reprise her role for Mardaani 3.

The only thing the actress is waiting on is for a good script to come along for the third part of this franchise. She does not want to take up this project simply because it is a good film, but mainly because the script is strong enough.
