He is now all set to take on another iconic role, that is sure to leave a mark in his filmography. The actor is all set to embark on Niranjan Iyengar’s directorial debut, which promises to bring to life the captivating story of one of Ruskin Bond’s books. The film is set to be an adaptation of this world-renowned children’s author’s books.

The film adaptation script has turned out beautifully. I’m excited to work with my dream team of uber talented Vikrant Massey and Niranjan Iyengar on this unique love story. For me, love is the only language worth speaking, and it’s been my lifelong dream to craft a love story that resonates with people from all walks of life. I envision a story that has the purity and simplicity of love. That’s why I’ve been drawn to adapt a Ruskin Bond story for our next film. Crafting a simple love story is far from easy, but I relish the challenge of tackling the complex. Love always emerges victorious, and that’s a message I’m passionate about conveying.
Another one of Vikrant’s projects recently saw the light of day, as the makers put out the trailer of his upcoming film 12th Fail, based on the life of a Hindi medium student. While he takes on this unique role, to add to his long list of versatile characters, it would also be interesting to see which book and character Niranjan Iyenger brings to life with this adaptation. Apart from this, he is also set to play the lead in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next. The actor who made his debut with Lootera, went on to play a lot of characters, with a lot of complexities with ease.
