When you think back on epic love stories in Bollywood, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha always comes to mind. The Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer which was a partition drama that was released in 2001, is all set to return with its sequel in 2023. The response towards its trailer release and song releases like udd jaa kale kaava has been tremendous, and here’s how the film is doing in terms of advance bookings at the box office. The advance booking for the film has been phenomenal and the film has successfully sold 45,000 tickets across 3 national chains, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis, for its opening day alone. The film is all set to sell 50,000 tickets until Thursday for its opening day alone while selling 2,00,000 tickets in total as dance booking until Thursday. This film is set to take on the box office like no other film has since the release of Pathaan. I cannot wait to see the storm it creates after its release.
