The first part of this epic love story was an absolute hit among audiences years ago for its songs and intriguing plot line. Sunny and Ameesha’s film has found a spot in the heart of its audience, with its nostalgia factor as the film has managed to sell 1,37,000 tickets for Day 1 of its release, up until August 11 across the 10 major multiplex chains in India. This number however does not include the ticket sales of the next few days, but only of the first day. Going as per each multiplex chain, PVR has sold 40,200 tickets, INOX has sold 31,900, while Cinepolis has sold about 21,010 tickets for this film.
