Rajinikanth is still basking in the success of his previous film Jailer, which was a humongous success at the box office worldwide. Sun Pictures has announced another film with Rajni, and it is in collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Who is the director of films like Leo and Vikram. In this project, the Thalaiva will not just reunite with Sun Pictures after Jailer, but also composer Anirudh, who will also be scoring the music for this film. It is the first collaboration between Rajni and Lokesh and the film is set to release on 19th October. It is also said that the film will be made in a standalone manner with Rajni and will have no connection to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe as it’s called. The report in Pinkvilla also stated that there have been rumours that this film is going to be the last film of Rajinikanth’s career. However, there has been no confirmation of the same.
There were rumours floating around about the cast of the film, but the makers of the film have put all of them to rest by putting out an official announcement regarding the film.
