Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer drama film rocked the Box Office once again with its sequel ‘Gadar 2‘. The first part of this epic love story was an absolute hit among audiences years ago for its songs and intriguing plot line. The sequel also seems to be raking up a storm, with the audience pouring out their love on this partition drama. It is seen to break some of the biggest box office records. The film has now successfully entered the 500 Crore Club at the box office.
This is no small feat for a sequel and it does not even show signs of slowing down. The box office collection of the film only seems to be growing with every passing day. It also became the fastest film to cross the 500 Crore mark at the box office and is only the third in Hindi film to cross the 500 Crore mark after Pathaan and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2. The film raked in Rs. 8.50 Crores on its fourth Sunday taking its total box office collection to a whopping Rs. 501.87. The film on an international level is also doing exceptionally well, collecting over Rs. 650 Crores.
