Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is taking the box office by storm as it has already raked in 300 Crores globally. This film by Karan Johar which marks his 25th year in the industry, is an ode to true blue Bollywood romance. The audience seemed to have enjoyed the film thoroughly for being a larger-than-life entertainment, that was missing on the big screen in Bollywood. The film has garnered love not just in India, but across the world. The film has successfully managed to rake in a whopping $10.08 Million In North America.
It crossed the manganous 10 million mark at the US Box Office, on 3rd September. This now makes this Karan Johar film the 7th Indian film and 5th Bollywood film to reach this milestone, and as an absolute fan of Karan’s work as well as Alia and Ranveer’s acting, I must say that it is deserving of all the love it has received overseas as well. The film raked in a hefty $130,000 on its fourth Saturday, which took its overall collection to $10.08 Million. Apart from the US, the film has also managed to make a collection of a whopping 165 Crores at the overseas box office, taking the film’s total to 340 Crores in a month’s time, at the box offices worldwide.
With the fabulous work by Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s screen presence in the film, and not to forget on the catchy songs, RRKPK has now become one of the must-watch movies of the season.
