Shah Rukh Khan is truly the King of Bollywood, and his latest release, Jawan is proof. The only competition the actor truly has at this point, is himself. A lot of eyes were set on how much his action-packed entertainer Jawan would rake in on its opening day, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The film raked in a whopping Rs 75 Crores as its box office collection of Day 1.
It does not just stop at that, Rs. 75 Crores is just the domestic collection, the film in all, as for its worldwide box office collection has collected around Rs. 150 Crores. SRK has managed to beat his own record that he set with his last film Pathaan. Out of this 75 Crores, approximately 65 Crores has come from its Hindi version, making it the biggest opening for a Hindi film. The rest 10 Crores has come in from the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions. These stats are as per the industry tracker Sacnilk. The occupancy in cinemas was also at an all-time high, with audiences preferring morning shows as much as nighttime shows on Day 1.
