Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 created quite a buzz with its success and was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Post this blockbuster, Akshay is all set to take on a number of films one after the other, and there is no stopping to Khiladi Kumar. Next in line, the actor has ‘Mission Raniganj – The Great Bharat Rescue’, based on the life of Jaswant Singh Gill, a heroic engineer who saved the lives of 65 miners from the flooded coal mines. The makers recently revealed the film’s motion poster and the audience seems to be very excited from the first look of it. The makers also dropped the teaser of the film, and it looks as intriguing as ever. Check it out below…

The teaser takes us back to 13th November 1989, with a shot of the Raniganj Coalfield, where the accident took place. We see a number of miners working underground while one notices a drop of water falling from the ceiling. That is when the real trouble starts and things soon begin to go downhill. That is when Akshay Kumar steps in to rescue them. The teaser looks captivating and is sure to keep you hooked. Akshay Kumar who plays a heroic role in the film, was seen in a completely different avatar donning a turban, while the teaser also gave a glimpse of Parineeti Chopra from the film.

The film is slated to release on 6th October, and the makers are also planning on releasing the film’s trailer on the occasion of Akshay Kumar’s birthday. The film is also set to star Parineeti Chopra and Nimrit Kaur, alongside him.
