Shah Rukh Khan’s latest cinematic offering, Jawan, achieved a monumental feat by crossing the 1000 crore mark at the box office. This staggering success has not only set new records but has also earned the admiration of fellow actors and industry stalwarts. Addressing a set of people at the prestigious India Today Conclave, Akshay spoke about the recent films and their performance at the box office. He said that he hopes that the industry gives more and more hits. Akshay then went on to praise SRK saying that he was very happy when his film Jawan did such good business. He further added that the new benchmark set in the industry is 1000 Crores and he wishes that we do more films that touch the 2000 to 3000 Crore mark, like Hollywood films do.
