Bollywood is no stranger to sequels and follow-ups, and when it comes to the cult hit ‘Veere Di Wedding,’ the news of a second instalment is sure to set fans buzzing with anticipation. Rhea Kapoor, the producer of the original film, has confirmed ‘Veere Di Wedding 2’ and has promised that this sequel will be refreshingly different, making it a highly awaited addition to Bollywood’s world of romcoms. It starred names like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.

The film was directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi became the talk of the town soon after its release. There were talks of the film being made but now Rhea Kapoor herself has confirmed the making of her film’s sequel, in an interview with News18. In this interview, she also promises it to be much different than the first part. She further went on to comment on why it took her so long to lock in the second part, and the reason for that being that she did not want to do it until she knew that it would be better than the first one.
