Karan Johar made his Bollywood debut 25 years ago with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and this film still holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. This film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji who to date getting immense love for their roles in this film. Now, Karan Johar has revealed if there is a remake of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ who he would cast and his reply gives us hopes for a remake of this iconic film!
In a conversation with Etimes, Karan Johar when asked about the remake of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and if it were to be made who would be cast, replied with an exciting answer. Karan revealed that if there were a remake to be made he would cast Alia Bhatt as ‘Anjali’ which is Kajol‘s role. He then said either Ananya Panday or Janhvi Kapoor would be ‘Tina’ which is Rani Mukerji’s role and finally he would cast Ranveer Singh as ‘Rahul’ which is Shah Rukh Khan’s role. Karan said if he would hypothetically make this movie this would be his casting choice. I am really hoping to see a remake of this iconic film and it is truly so exciting to even hear this.
This only makes me more curious as to whether Karan has a remake planned and if yes then I am eagerly awaiting more details!
