Global search engine Google released their Year in Search 2023. Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan was amongst the top trending searches in 2023. The film ranked No.3 globally and claimed the No. 1 spot in India. When it comes to OTT shows, ‘Farzi’ starring Shahid Kapoor topped the list in India. The next four spots in the list was followed by ‘Wednesday’ starring Jenna Ortega, ‘Asur’ starring Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti, Rana Daggubatti’s ‘Rana Naidu’ and US drama series ‘The Last Of Us’.
In the Year in Search 2023 list, ‘Gadar 2’ starring Sunny Deol, Cillian Murphy’s Oppenheimer, ‘Adipurush’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ ranked at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively. ‘The Kerala Story’, Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, ‘Leo’ starring Vijay’, ‘Tiger 3’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ filled the next five slots.
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in ‘Dunki‘. His last release ‘Jawan’ emerged as the highest grossing Indian film of 2023 with a collection of over ₹1,148.32 crores. Shahid Kapoor was last seen in action-thriller film ‘Bloody Daddy’. His next film is title ‘Deva’ which will hit the theaters on October 11, 2024, the actor revealed.
