Triptii Dimri is currently making waves for her appearance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. The actress is in the limelight for her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor in the action drama film. Triptii made her debut in 2017 opposite Avinash Tiwary in ‘Laila Majnu’. The film was directed by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s brother Sajid Ali and was produced by Imtiaz Ali himself. Triptii recently shared an interesting fact about the film where she revealed that Imtiaz Ali had choreographed one of the song sequences in the film. Here’s what Triptii had to say…

As published in Republic, Triptii Dimri in an old interview revealed that Imtiaz Ali directed the actors’ movements for Laila Majnu’s song ‘Sarphiri’. “I was required to just walk from point A to point B for one shot in the song. I remember Imtiaz sir telling me, ‘just remember the mood’ and I gave my thumbs up as an affirmative,” Triptii said. “Now I have grown up watching Madhuri Dixit and Kajol. So in that brief walking moment, I gave all the expressions I could think of,” She added. Triptii also revealed that Imtiaz Ali came up to her after the shot ended and said, “You did Laila right? Now let’s do Triptii.”

Triptii Dimri was widely praised for her performance in Anvita Dutt’s supernatural drama ‘Bulbbul’. The actress will next star opposite Vicky Kaushal in Anand Tiwari’s ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam‘.
