He took full responsibility, expressing remorse with a simple “Forgive me if you can.” Sandeep admitted signing her a year and a half before shooting but struggled to see her as Geetanjali, stating that some characters just don’t resonate with certain people. Trusting instincts over auditions, he revealed a longstanding desire to work with Parineeti, even considering her for the role of Preeti in Kabir Singh, which eventually went to Kiara Advani.
I can’t help but wonder how Parineeti Chopra would have portrayed the characters in Animal and Kabir Singh. Her presence might have brought a unique and intriguing perspective to both films.
