2. Sharmila Tagore’s Reaction To Saif Ali Khan-Amrita Singh’s Marriage
During the episode, Saif Ali Khan revealed that his mother cried on knowing that he got married to Amrita Singh. “She (Sharmila Tagore) was supportive when I did it, and I remember it. She had said, ‘I believe you are living with someone and you are doing something’. So I said ‘yes’ and she said that don’t get married. And I said that I got married yesterday. Saif Ali Khan shared details about being replaced in his supposed debut film ‘Bekhudi’ where the actor was initially cast opposite Kajol. “Well, actually Rahul Rawail had signed Kamal Sadanah first and then replaced him with me, thinking perhaps this kind of casting is a little… And then, you know, I don’t want to blame him, but he did chuck me out of the movie. He said, ‘You’re quite good. People will think it’s because you’re not good, but it’s because I want you to be more committed and more professional.’ I thought I was, but he didn’t think so,” Saif Ali Khan revealed.
