Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ finally has a release date. The sports drama film directed by Amit Sharma is all set to hit screens on Eid 2024. The Hindi-language biographical film has undergone a prolonged production period of five years and was initially scheduled to be released in 2020. After facing consecutive delays, ‘Maidaan’ is all set to release in April 2024. Ali Abbas Zafar’s action movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff is also going to release in April 2024 and is expected to clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Zee Studios, ‘Maidaan‘ stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh, along with Ajay Devgn, who is seen essaying the role of the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, popularly regarded as the architect of modern Indian football.
Akshya Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. The official teaser for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is set to release on January 24. The action thriller film has been shot at various locations across Mumbai, London, Luton, Scotland, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan.
