‘Devara: Part 1’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Jr. NTR, and Janhvi Kapoor was slated for release on April 5, 2024. However, due to some production issues, the release date of the film has been postponed. As per media reports, the film will now be released in the second half of 2024. A source close to the much-anticipated film revealed to MissMalini the real reason behind the delay, and it is not Saif Ali Khan’s recent tricep surgery. Here’s the exclusive truth…

A source close to the project clarified that, “Saif’s injury is not the cause of the delay in ‘Devara’. Saif has already completed filming for the movie. The delay is attributed to the ongoing work on VFX and music by the filmmakers.” With Jr NTR in the titular role, Saif Ali Khan portraying the primary antagonist and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, ‘Devara’ also features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Abhimanyu Singh, Shine Tom Chacko and Murali Sharma.

With an ensemble cast of super talented actors, the film is set to be a blockbuster in 2024. The soundtrack of the Indian Telugu-language film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. ‘Devara’ introduces Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor to the South film industry. Here’s hoping to watch the film in theaters soon!
