Imran Khan’s ‘Delly Belly’ was undoubtedly the most talked-about film of 2011. The action comedy film starring Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, and Shenaz Treasurywala, along with Imran Khan, was produced by Aamir Khan Productions and was given an ‘A’ certificate for its intense content. An interesting fact shared by the film’s costume designer, Niharika Bhasin, is that Imran Khan wore smelly, unwashed t-shirts to ace his character in the film. Here’s what Niharika had to say…

In conversation with Vidya Balan on Crew Cut, Niharika Bhasin shared that she ‘aged’ everything, and Imran Khan sportingly wore those clothes. “The characters are running through the streets, they get cement on them, they are slimy, they are in Delhi, in summer, in Chandni Chowk. There are things I had done with the clothes, so I couldn’t wash them. So, every day he would be like, ‘Can someone please perfume the shirt please?’ It was horrible, but he did it and I really love him for it,” Niharika revealed.

After being away from the limelight for a really long time, Imran Khan recently shot for a leading magazine’s cover photoshoot and shared some interesting details on his life, career, and past projects. In the Vogue India interview, he reflected on his decision to step away from acting and also revealed if his film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ will get a sequel. To be honest, I really miss watching Imran Khan on the big screen in his rom-com roles, and I hope he makes a smashing comeback in theaters soon!
