Robert Downey Jr. recently won his first ever Oscar at the 96th Academy Awards for best supporting actor for his role in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’. Sharing his acceptance speech video on her Instagram stories, Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan praised the ‘Iron Man’ actor for his phenomenal achievement. Here’s what Kareena Kapoor Khan posted…

In his Oscars 2024 acceptance speech, Robert Downey Jr. said, “I’d like to thank my terrible childhood and the Academy – in that order. I’d like to thank my veterinarian – I meant wife, Susan Downey over there. She found me a snarling rescue pet and you loved me back to life. That’s why I’m here.” His moving speech has touched the hearts of his fans worldwide! “Here’s my little secret, I needed this job more than it needed me. Chris (Nolan) knew it, Emma made sure she surrounded me with one of the great casts and crews of all time – Emily, Cillian, Matt Damon, Blunt – and I stand here before you a better man because of it,” the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ actor added.

I’m truly happy for Robert Downey Jr., and this recognition was long overdue, as this is his third attempt at the Oscars, having previously been nominated for ‘Chaplin’ (1993) for best actor and ‘Tropic Thunder’ (2009) for best supporting actor. Here’s my heartfelt congratulations to Robert Downey Jr. on his Oscar victory.
