The recent title announcement of Citadel’s next season – Citadel Honey Bunny – was already buzzing with excitement, but it was a playful moment that stole the spotlight and left everyone laughing in delight. Hosted by the inimitable Karan Johar, the event was filled with anticipation as the teaser for the upcoming season was unveiled. But it was Karan’s witty banter and the unexpected antics of lead actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu that truly made it a memorable affair.
Describing Varun Dhawan as the “Student of the year to hopefully spy of the year,” Karan set the stage for what was to come. As Varun Dhawan took the stage, he caught everyone off guard by touching Karan Johar’s feet in a gesture of respect and admiration. Before Karan could process what had happened, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, too, joined in, following suit with a playful smile. Karan’s reaction? A resounding “No!” accompanied by laughter from the attendees. But Varun wasn’t done yet. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he declared, “I think everyone should touch Karan’s feet.” To which Karan, ever the quick wit, responded, “I am finding my mid-life crisis. I don’t want you all to put me in place!” The playful banter continued as Varun jokingly remarked, “I don’t think we realize how old Karan is because he does a great job with his dermatologist!” Karan, always ready with a witty comeback, refuted the allegation, saying, “There are lots of people who have done jobs on their faces. I am not one of them.”
