According to India Today, Karan Johar‘s absence from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar was due to a sudden viral infection and sore throat. He had planned to perform with Manish Malhotra but had to cancel last minute. Instead, Manish took the stage with Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor. Despite missing out, Karan conveyed his best wishes over the phone and promised to meet the couple soon.
I wonder it would’ve been if Karan had attended the pre-wedding festivities, and I can only imagine the magic his performance would’ve added to the celebration!
