In just 2 minutes and 40 seconds, the Dhurandhar first look manages to give us an in-depth first look at an epic, action-packed story that’s inspired by true events. The first look also showcases one of the boldest ensemble casts that Bollywood has ever seen.
Dhurandhar’s Cast And Crew Are Absolutely Stacked
Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios joins Jio Studios to present the film. Aditya is also the Writer, director and producer of the film, while Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande serve as co-producers.
The film features an ensemble cast of actors, which is absolutely stacked. From the looks of the trailer – Ranveer Singh is going to be the movie’s lead.
Joining Ranveer in this film are major names like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal will be a part of the action-packed experience as well. Each of these actors brings years of experience and grit, but also strong looks to the trailer.
As for the actress, Sara Arjun takes centre stage in perhaps her biggest role yet, which could launch the actress as Bollywood’s next big thing.
The First Look Featured An Iconic Track From Hanumankind
The sounds of the movie are composed by Shashwat Sachdev, while Jasmine Sandlas and rapper Hanumankind have hopped on vocals.
The first look gave us the first glimpse at the movie’s soundtrack with the track ‘Na De Dil Pardesi Nu’ played throughout the video. The track blends old-school and traditional sounds with modern beats and rap.
We Get To See Ranveer Singh’s Brazen Avatar
The Video starts off strong and gives us a look at Ranveer Singh in his bold new avatar, rocking long, wavy hair and a big beard – making a phone call while his entire face is splattered with blood.
Following this segment, Ranveer is seen staring out the window and strolling through crowded streets, even sweeping the floor in what looks like a restaurant. This is just the calm before the storm, because throughout the rest of the trailer – everywhere Ranveer goes, there’s blood, explosions and absolute chaos.
Sara Arjun Will Be Ranveer’s Partner In Crime
In the first look, Ranveer Singh is spotted riding his bike with and dancing alongside Sara Arjun – and we’re assuming this means that the two are partners in crime, or at least in love. Whatever it is, it’ll be interesting to see the dynamics between the two.
The Rest of The Cast Is Just As Impressive
The first look also introduces Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal rocking similar brazen, rugged looks – and from the looks of things, all of them will also be an important part of the action and step into roles that are going to be integral to the story.
Dhurandhar Will Give Us A Lot Of Action, Seriously
Ranveer Singh lighting the dynamite with a cigarette is one of the greatest things we’ve ever seen, but it’s not even close to the kind of explosiveness that we see in the rest of the trailer.
There’s weapons, hand to hand combat and all sorts of epic fighting sequences that we’ll get to see in the film, as it clearly won’t be holding back on the violent aspects. And don’t even get us started on all the explosions and fire! Almost everything you see in the trailer, can and will burn and explode. Buildings, cars, dynamites, barrels.. And so much more we haven’t gotten to see yet.
The destruction and chaos doesn’t stop there either – bridges, buildings and fire hydrants will all be blown apart with debris flying around. It’s definitely up there with the likes of Animal and Marco, and the trailer is a clear indication of how Dhurandhar even has a chance of topping them.
Dhurandhar Arrives On 5th December
Dhurandhar brought the heat with one of the most explosive first look we’ve ever seen in Bollywood, and we’re likely going to get more content from the film in the coming months in the form of trailers and music videos.
Dhurandhar will make its explosive arrival to theatres on December 5, 2025 – and though it’s a long wait, we think it’s going to be worth every second.
