The legal confrontation between It Ends With Us director-actor Justin Baldoni and actress-producer Blake Lively has now taken a dramatic turn. Isabela Ferrer, who played the younger version of Lively’s character Lily, has filed new harassment allegations against Baldoni, accusing him of using legal tactics to pressure and intimidate her.
What Ferrer Alleges

Ferrer’s legal team alleges that Baldoni’s subpoena largely mirrors Lively’s earlier request and appears designed to exert pressure rather than seek new information. They claim that Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, refused to honor an indemnity clause in Ferrer’s contract—under which legal expenses would be covered—unless she relinquished control over her legal strategy, which she refused to do.
Ferrer’s team contends that Baldoni is leveraging his financial influence to manipulate her response to the legal proceedings, including threatening exposure of private personal details such as addresses. Her court filing asks the judge to reject Baldoni’s motion in its entirety and impose sanctions against him.
Baldoni’s Response

Baldoni’s legal team rejects Ferrer’s claims as baseless, asserting the subpoena is a legitimate attempt to gather documents not previously covered by Lively’s motion. They argue that calling the subpoena harassment is an “inappropriate attack” and suggest that Ferrer’s prior positive comments about Baldoni—as a “great director” and “wonderful to work with”—undermine her current stance.
In some filings, Baldoni’s team suggests that if Ferrer does not wish to cooperate, her testimony could be excluded from proceedings.
Broader Legal Context
Ferrer’s claims are unfolding against the backdrop of a deepening legal feud. It is worth noting that in December 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation on the set of It Ends With Us, allegations that he denies and countersued over. Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively and her team was dismissed in June 2025, with the court affirming that Lively’s claims are legally protected. The main trial between Lively and Baldoni is scheduled for March 2026.
