Actress Swara Bhasker, who often finds herself at the center of controversies, is once again in the spotlight—this time for her remarks on sexuality. In a recent interview with Screen, where she appeared alongside her husband and political activist Fahad Ahmad, Swara claimed that “all of us are bisexual,” while describing heterosexuality as an ideology imposed on society.

She explained, “We are all bisexual. If you leave people to themselves, we are actually bisexuals. But heterosexuality is an ideology that has been put in us culturally for thousands of years. Because that is how the human race will perpetuate, so it has to be the norm.”

Reveals Crush on Dimple Yadav

During the same conversation, Swara candidly admitted to having a crush on Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, whom she met recently. The confession has since gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions online.

Social media users had mixed responses. One user commented, “Her husband realized what she really is talking about, and his body language changed.” Another wrote, “If you’re bisexual, Swara, it doesn’t mean the rest of us are in your fan club.” A third quipped, “Akhilesh Yadav has got competition.”

Past Admiration for the MP

Interestingly, this is not the first time Swara has publicly expressed admiration for Dimple Yadav. Earlier this year, she shared a photo with the MP on her birthday, writing, “Warm and heartfelt birthday wishes to the ever graceful and wonderful @dimpleyadav ji! Have a great year ahead.”

Meanwhile, Swara is currently appearing in the ongoing reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga—Jodiyon Ka Reality Check alongside her husband, Fahad Ahmad.
