The second half of 2025 is shaping up to be packed with high-profile box office clashes, and the latest buzz points to a star kid vs star kid showdown. According to reports, Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis is now set to clash with Junaid Khan’s Ek Din on November 7, 2025.
Why Ikkis Release Date Was Shifted
A report by Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, “Ikkis will now release on November 7. The decision was taken by producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, who felt that the first week of November and post-Diwali time will be ideal for their movie.”
The insider further added, “This is a good move as two major films are scheduled for release on October 2 — Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1. November 7 is a better date in that regard.”
Earlier, Ikkis was slated for an October 2 release. However, given the crowded release window, the makers strategically pushed the date to avoid a clash with other big titles.
About Ikkis: Agastya Nanda’s Big Screen Debut
Produced by Maddock Films, Ikkis marks the theatrical debut of Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, after his Netflix debut in The Archies. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, the film also stars Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. With Raghavan’s signature storytelling style, expectations are already high for the project.
About Ek Din: Junaid Khan’s Second Release
On the other hand, Ek Din will be Junaid Khan’s second big-screen release, following Loveyapa and his OTT debut Maharaj. Directed by Sunil Pandey and produced under Aamir Khan Productions, the film has an interesting backdrop. Reports suggest it was shot during the famous Snow Festival in Sapporo, Japan, adding visual richness and authenticity to its narrative.
