October end marked the beginning of Chhath- a divine festival celebrated to show gratitude to the SUN and honoring Chhath Maiyya for granting health and prosperity. The celebration of Chhath also extends in giving donations to cows, symbolizing devotion, gratitude to nature and an expression of charity. However while the tradition of feeding Cow’s leftover prasads comes from a place of kindness, it can often be harmful. Many cattle are unable to digest such food, and in some cases it can even make them sick.
Introducing a Healthier Alternative
In response to this growing concern, Kapila Pashu Aahar and Collective Creative Labs rolled out a meaningful initiative through its groundbreaking campaign ‘Kapila Gau Prasad’, unveiling the 1kg “Chhath Special” Kapila Pack as a healthier, natural, chemical and urea free substitute, especially for the occasion. To spread awareness about safe and mindful cattle feeding, the campaign was activated across six major locations in Bihar, encouraging communities to choose purity and care over harmful leftovers.
Community Engagement with a Heart
Each venue featured vibrant Kapila Pashu Aahar – branded Kiosks that became the hub of local engagement, reflecting the brand’s deep connection with purity and devotion. The celebration also focused on women centric themes where vrattis received Kapila Pashu Aahar themed makeup and shared stories of devotion. To spread awareness about care, harmony and purity, children received Kapila Pashu Aahar branded notebooks carrying messages that encouraged love and responsibility toward nature and animals. With every step, Kapila Pashu Aahar reinforced its commitment to nurture the cattle and promote conscious celebration.
Turning Compassion into a Movement
The campaign conceptualised and designed by Collective Creative Labs turned out to be a grand success as 19,000 kgs of healthy cattle food was distributed, meaning an equal amount of harmful leftovers was prevented from being consumed. While Sitamarhi marked the most distribution of around 4000kgs, the overwhelming response of love and acceptance left all the locations completely sold out making it a huge moment of compassion. As highlighted by local news and media, the campaign evolved into a social movement, where people wholeheartedly embraced the change — choosing care, purity, and nourishment for the cattle that sustain their traditions. Kapila Pashu Aahar initiative not only protected countless animals but also inspired communities to celebrate Chhath Puja with greater consciousness and kindness.
A Purpose-Driven Celebration
Through this heartfelt initiative, Kapila Pashu Aahar not only safeguarded the health of countless cattle but also inspired communities to celebrate Chhath Pooja with greater awareness, empathy and purity of intention.
By promoting conscious choices and pure nourishment, Kapila Pashu Aahar turned faith into action and care into impact.
Because when it comes to feeding with love and purity-
