Documents indicate that Ryan Reynolds became extremely agitated upon hearing of the statements that were allegedly made about Blake Lively’s weight. It is reported that he asked Justin Baldoni to explain himself, telling him that such things were not only inappropriate but also hurtful. People magazine, reporting on the documents, stated that Justin Baldoni was accused of fat-shaming the actress. The report further stated that during the confrontation, Baldoni looked ashamed, apologised, and even tears came to his eyes.
The legal complaint containing the events of this confrontation also details Lively’s suit against Baldoni and the other parties, in which she alleges retaliation and s*xual harassment, accusations that Justin Baldoni has denied. The trial is scheduled for March 2026. It also revealed that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, who are close friends of Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively were also present at the scene.
As more people started to show interest in the documents, a representative of Taylor Swift reacted to her link to the movie It Ends With Us, where all the drama started. According to the statement, Taylor Swift did not come to the shooting, nor was she involved creatively; the only thing she did was to allow her song My Tears Ricochet to be used. The representative also spoke about how her name is used in the legal and media circles and noted that it seems that it is done purposely to gain attention rather than to show her real involvement.
