Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are on their way to the aisle for sure. The Hanna Montana star put an end to all the speculations that lasted for several weeks by confirming the engagement today. The couple went to the red carpet premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash together. It was their first public appearance since their engagement. And lo and behold, all eyes were on the big diamond shining on the left hand of Miley, a detail that fans had figured out even before the news was announced.
Miley Cyrus’ 1.5 Crore Diamond Ring Details Decoded
The engagement ring quickly gained the attention of everyone, and Julia Chafe, a jewellery influencer, had a good look at the ring and gave its value a close estimation of 150,000, which is close to 1.34 crore.
She also revealed that the ring made by LA stylist Jackie Aish, with a centre piece, being a 4-carat cushioned diamond elongated to a slim shape and set flat on the finger, liked the position jewellers call east-west. The diamond is laid horizontally across the finger. Instead of being in a subtle pronged mount, the jewel is wrapped in an artistically bombe-style bezel unit, which gives the ring a smooth, modern silhouette.
The precious stone is mounted on a thick cigar band, which is said to be 14-karat yellow gold. Although Julia was not convinced about the metal chosen, she remarked in simple words that she didn’t think Miley would pick something that basic for a piece of that importance. On top of that, she went on to say that the design seems so complex that it actually looks as if there are two stones involved, maybe half-moon shapes merged into the setting. She is of the opinion that the diamond’s warm colour fits perfectly with the current trend of desert-inspired jewellery.
