Aryan Khan Faces Legal Trouble In Bengaluru

A local attorney has raised the matter concerning Aryan’s gesture in such a way that, following the incident, he turned to the police and filed a formal complaint with the authorities, requesting them to register a case and take necessary action as per the law.

The complainant addressed his/her complaint to the police authorities and the Women’s Commission of Karnataka, requesting them to register an FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

According to the news reports, the scene of the event was a hip and happening bar in downtown Bangalore where a lot of media persons and fans had gathered to witness and cover the launch of the luxury streetwear brand D’yavol by Aryan Khan. The event was quite a scene as many media people had come there, and the media coverage was also great; therefore, the fans had eagerly gathered outside the venue. Aryan reached there with Zaid, a Kannada actor, the son of the Karnataka minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, with actress Dhanya Ramkumar.

The complainant thinks that when Aryan was going to the balcony of the restaurant to meet the media and the fans who were waiting there, he impulsively showed a middle finger, and after that, he greeted them with a wave and a smile. On the other hand, Hussain states that the gesture was offensive and constituted an obscene act in a public place, especially as it was a place where some women were present. Such acts, he says, resulted in “embarrassment” as well as “emotional distress” and, together with this, he argued that the act was in conflict with the image of Bangalore as a city of respect, civility, and public decorum.”

Though the online community is abuzz with debates on the nature of the complaint, law enforcement officials have still not made known whether a case will be filed or whether Aryan will be called for interrogation. This event is just a new controversy of the young director who is trying to fashion his own creative identity besides his family’s stardom.

Aryan Khan has lately received commendations from critics for his first directorial, which was a Netflix original satirical dramedy series titled Ba*ds of Bollywood. With Lakshya, Bobby Deol, and Raghav Juyal playing lead characters and several leading Hindi film stars making cameo appearances, the series proved to be a highly promising creative debut for him.
