Sydney Sweeney has reacted to the rumours that have been going on for a long time about her physical appearance. She strongly denied that she had any kind of cosmetic procedures. During a new chat with The Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried for Allure, the 28-year-old actor recounted how they have been attacking her personally and how these kinds of rude investigations have been her lot throughout her whole acting career.
Sydney Sweeney On Cosmetic Procedures
On being asked to explain a beauty rumour of her choice, Sydney Sweeney did not waste any time in choosing the subject of plastic surgery. She said she never had any work done on her body, and additionally, her fear of needles alone would make such treatments absolutely out of her reach. Seyfried humorously said that maybe one day she could help her get over the fea,r but at the same time she pointed out that Sweeney is flawless as she is.
She also clarified that her face has tiny natural asymmetries as she had an accident when wakeboarding and got 19 stitches around one eye of the face, due to which, now one eye is opening a little wider than the other, something that she stressed has nothing to do with plastic surgery.
She also talked about the nastiness of the internet, wherein people put one-by-one pictures of her youth and after years of professional grooming side by side to compare her. Sweeney observed that people are less than realistic when they compare a makeup-free 12-year-old to a professionally done and lit studio photo of an adult, and they also neglect the fact that everyone grows and changes physically.

Sydney Sweeney will soon be seen in The Housemaid, a scary psychological movie by Paul Feig. Based on the Frieda McFadden’s bestselling novel, the movie depicts a young woman with lots of problems who becomes a live-in housemaid for a rich family and then finds out scary things that they are hiding. Besides Seyfried, the movie cast includes Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins. The film is scheduled to be released on December 19, 2025.
