What To Watch In Theatres This Week? ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ and ‘Sholay: The Final Cut’ Together

Komal Vishwakarma

The beginning of December is always considered a special time for movies. The weather cools down, the holiday atmosphere begins to build, and audiences start planning for a good time at the theatre. This week, Hindi cinema is bringing two completely different films, a new story, and an old memory that will be a chance to see again on the big screen.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2

Kapil Sharma is back with laughter again on December 12th. The first film thoroughly entertained audiences, and now his world is set to expand even further in the second instalment. This time, he will be joined by the likes of Manjot Singh, Ayesha Khan, Parul Gulati, Warina Hussain, and Tridha Choudhury.

Not much has been revealed about the story, but the film will, like its predecessor, offer light-hearted comedy, relationship complexities, and Kapil’s unique timing. Anukalp Goswami is writing and directing this sequel, so we can expect the film to bring laughter to theatres.

Sholay: The Final Cut

On the other hand, the iconic 1975 film “Sholay” is returning to the screen but this time in a completely new avatar. With 4K quality, improved sound, and an uncut version, the film will be re-released on December 12th.

This film, starring legendary late actor Dharmendra Ji, Amitabh Bachchan, and Hema Malini, still holds a special place in people’s hearts. Those new to the story will experience a true theatrical experience for the first time. And for those who have seen it before, it will be a moment of reliving memories.

Following these two films on December 12th, ‘Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi’ is also set to release on December 19th. The film is directed by Siddhant Raj Singh. Ekansh Bachchan and Harsha Bachchan produce it, with Ramit Thakur serving as co-producer. The story is written by Prashant Singh. Along with Mahima Chaudhary and Sanjay Mishra, the film also stars Vyom Yadav, Pallak Lalwani, Praveen Singh Sisodia, Navni Parihar, and Shrikant Verma. For comedy lovers, this film could provide a good laugh at the end of the year.

This week in December is perfect for viewers looking for new comedies and those who enjoy reliving the old world of cinema on the big screen. Whatever your mood, both genres of films will be available in theatres this Friday.
