Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya have become the subject of speculation once again, as new reports have implied that the couple, who recently got married, might be having a baby soon. There are no comments from Sobhita or Chaitanya regarding these rumours, but they intensified after Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, was asked if he was going to be a grandfather.

During a conversation with a Telugu television channel, Nagarjuna was confronted with the online gossip about the couple expecting a baby. The actor was so surprised by the question that he just laughed and answered quickly and tried to change the subject. When the interviewer insisted the actor to respond, he joked that he would do it only when the time was right if it were true. The actor’s surprise and uncertainty did not really deter the speculation, and thus, fans and other well wishers took over the social media platform and started congratulating the family.

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got married in December 2024 in an intimate ceremony held at Hyderabad’s Annapurna Studios. Only the families and close friends were the guests of the wedding. Their love story had been kept under wraps for almost two years until they finally confirmed it. The media had been reporting their relationship since 2022 when Sobhita was caught at Chaitanya’s house and after which the couple was spotted several times while they were on holiday in London. Despite the mounting gossips, the pair decided to keep the matter confidential, and they only disclosed it after their engagement was made public in August 2024.
Before Sobhita, Naga Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They met the first time on the set of the 2010 film Ye Maaya Chesave and later tied the knot in 2017. In 2021, they together announced their separation after a long time of rumor. Samantha tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a quiet ceremony earlier this month.
